How Do I Get Stains Out Of A Mattress Protector?

Firstly, liberally apply a stain-remover spray onto the stained area of your mattress protector. For fresh stains, a clean cloth should be used to absorb any remaining moisture. Once the stain has been sprayed, gently blot the area with a damp cloth until the mark disappears.

Secondly, fill an empty spray bottle with a cup of vinegar, and spritz it onto the stain. Let the vinegar penetrate the stain for several minutes. Now, pat some baking soda onto the stain, which will result in a bubbling action. Use a clean cloth to blot away the moisture, then leave it to dry.

Thirdly, dip a cloth into a small amount of hydrogen peroxide and dab the stain until it fades away. Be mindful not to drench the stain, as this could result in the liquid seeping into your mattress.

Finally, remove the mattress protector from the mattress and pre-treat any lingering stains with a stain remover. Allow this to penetrate for several minutes, then wash the protector separately in your washing machine. Be sure to consult the tag on the protector for specific temperature and washing guidelines.
